Understanding the MapleVest Dashboard
The MapleVest dashboard is your central control panel for monitoring account activity, reviewing strategy performance, and staying informed about how your connected trading setup is operating.
Whether you are checking results, adjusting capital, or reviewing recent activity, the dashboard is designed to give you a clear overview of everything in one place. This guide explains the main sections so you can navigate the platform with more confidence and make smarter decisions.
π§ 1. Portfolio Overview
At the top of the dashboard, MapleVest provides a summary of your connected exchange account and current strategy exposure. This section helps you understand your overall account position at a glance.
- Total Account Balance: the estimated combined value of your tracked assets
- Available Capital: funds not currently assigned to active strategies
- Funds in Use: capital currently allocated across running strategies
- Realized P&L: completed profit or loss from closed activity
π€ 2. Active Strategies Section
Every active strategy is usually displayed as an individual card or row, making it easy to review what is currently running and how each strategy is performing.
- Strategy Name and Type so you can identify the logic being used
- Status, such as active, paused, completed, or requiring attention
- Running Time to show how long the strategy has been active
- Capital in Use for that specific strategy
- Live P&L or unrealized result based on current market conditions
- Quick Controls for pausing, editing, or stopping a strategy
π 3. Performance Charts
When you open a strategy in more detail, you may see performance charts that help visualize trading activity over time. These graphs are useful for understanding not just the result, but how the result was achieved.
- Entry and Exit Points to show where positions were opened and closed
- Cumulative P&L to track progress over time
- Trade Frequency to understand how active the strategy has been
- Buy/Sell Breakdown for a clearer view of execution behavior
- Timeframe Filters such as short-term and longer-term views
These charts can be especially helpful when comparing short-term fluctuations with longer-term strategy behavior.
π 4. Trade History
The trade history section gives you a more detailed log of individual activity. Instead of just showing totals, it lets you review what actually happened inside the strategy.
- Execution time for each action
- Buy or sell direction
- Position or trade size
- Entry and exit pricing
- Result shown as a percentage and estimated value
Reviewing this section can help you better understand timing, consistency, and how the strategy reacts in different market conditions.
π οΈ 5. Quick Actions Panel
When a strategy is selected, MapleVest may provide a quick actions area where you can make practical adjustments without rebuilding everything from scratch.
- Adjust Capital if you want to increase or reduce exposure
- Update Risk Settings depending on the strategy configuration
- Pause or Resume activity when market conditions change
- Rebalance or Reconfigure supported strategy parameters
- Switch Pairs or Settings where available
π 6. Alerts & Notifications
MapleVest may also include alerts to help you stay updated without having to constantly watch the dashboard. Notifications are useful for monitoring strategy milestones and unexpected events.
You may receive alerts for things like:
- A strategy finishing or reaching its target
- Take-profit or stop-loss conditions being triggered
- Connection or exchange-related issues
- Important status changes requiring your attention
Notifications help reduce guesswork and make it easier to react quickly when something important happens.
π Tips for Reading the Dashboard More Effectively
- Focus on trends, not only on one isolated number
- Watch inactive strategies carefully, since inactivity can sometimes signal a connection or setup issue
- Do not overreact to short-term volatility; review the broader performance context first
- Use trade history together with charts to understand both the result and the behavior behind it
- Check capital allocation regularly so you always know how much of your balance is actively being used
