Deposits & Withdrawals
MapleVest does not store, hold, or directly manage your trading funds. All trading activity takes place through your connected exchange account. This guide explains how deposits, trading allocation, and withdrawals work when using MapleVest, so you always know where your assets are and how they are handled.
π¦ 1. Where Are My Funds Stored?
Your funds remain in your personal exchange account at all times. MapleVest connects through API access to help automate trading actions, but it does not take custody of your capital.
The platform can only operate within the permissions you grant. In a standard setup, MapleVest is used to read balances and execute trades β not to transfer or withdraw your funds.
β Your assets stay on your exchange account under your control.
π³ 2. Funding Your Trading Account
Before using MapleVest strategies, you need to fund your supported exchange account with the assets you want to trade.
- Log in to your exchange account.
- Deposit USDT or another supported trading asset.
- Make sure your funds are available in your spot wallet, not locked in staking, margin, or other products.
- Return to your MapleVest dashboard and refresh your account view if needed.
π 3. Capital Allocation for Strategies
Once your funds are available on the exchange, you can decide how much of your balance you want MapleVest to use for a strategy.
- You choose the allocation amount when launching a strategy.
- This amount stays in your exchange account and is not transferred to MapleVest.
- You can run multiple strategies as long as you have enough available balance.
- Allocation settings can usually be adjusted later from your dashboard.
π 4. How Withdrawals Work
Withdrawals are handled entirely by your exchange. MapleVest is not part of the withdrawal process.
To withdraw your funds:
- Log in directly to your exchange account.
- Open the withdrawal section of the exchange.
- Select the asset and destination wallet or account.
- Complete the exchangeβs security verification steps.
π‘οΈ Security Note
- Always double-check wallet addresses before confirming a withdrawal.
- Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your exchange account.
- Use withdrawal whitelist settings whenever possible.
- Never share your exchange login credentials or API keys with anyone.
